How this app works:
It assumes equal gaps everywhere, including both end margins. It gives you the centerline marks you should place on the wall. Then you line up the template center marker to each centerline and place the top of the template at the preset template height from finished floor.

Outlet placement settings

Data above power, both centered on the kiosk line. The drop measures from the template-top line to the bottom edge of the lower power cover. Cover dimensions are editable for other plate styles.

Original supplied template: four mounting points, 9″ horizontal × 8¾″ vertical center spacing.

Power + data outlet detail

Same stack at every 32C kiosk. Data is purple (top); power is amber (bottom). Both centers align with the kiosk centerline. The lower power cover ends 6″ below the template-top line by default.

All horizontal positions are measured from the left wall. Values are inches, nearest 1/16 with decimal values in parentheses. Data and power have separate heights; the detail shows each cover’s top, center and bottom above the finished floor.

Default cover size: 2¾″ × 4½″, based on Leviton’s wallplate guide and QuickPort data-plate dimensions. These are cover outlines, not wall cutouts; confirm actual plates and box openings before installation.

Formula used

Gap width = (Wall width - (Kiosk count × Kiosk width)) ÷ (Kiosk count + 1)

Quick notes

  1. Equal gaps means the left end gap and right end gap match the gaps between kiosks.
  2. The first gap only gets you to the edge of kiosk 1.
  3. Adding the center offset converts that to the first kiosk centerline.
  4. After that, each next centerline is one kiosk width plus one gap away.
  5. Mount the template using its center marker on each centerline.
